15' Moving Truck.

So I made it to NYC and it feels good to be home! Who would've thought five years ago that I'd be up here, especially driving a 15' moving truck through Bushwick at 10 o'clock at night. That's keeping it real.

Right now, I'm literally living in a closet. Its nice and cozy, but hopefully I can upgrade into an actual room soon.

Keeping it real,
Bhurin.

slick shoes!

i think i might just miss this wicked cold weather. nothing beats fresh snow in the morning. well, maybe watching neighbor's car peel out in the snow. snow slosh!

with tons of snow comes tons of time in the house. i finished another song idea today titled "slick shoes." same deal as yesterday, watched more goonies and wrote.

one thing that's sort of a bummer with the snow is that i can't really ride my bike. oh well, nyc streets here i come!

speaking of bike, the inauguration is tomorrow. i'm psyched.

alright, do it for real for once.

so instead of packing my things up for a move that is hovering in the near future, i've been playing guitar. its been a long while since i've played for hours on end. check it out: http://www.myspace.com/bhurin

appropriately titled "pinchers of power" after having watched part of the goonies before finishing the song. maybe it'll end up being about how data was my hero growing up.

and if anyone knows of anyone that might be down to play some music in nyc, give me a buzz.

"i've been saved by my pinchers of power!"

11 hours later...

cheddar and sour cream chips, cheetos puffs, skittles, chewy sprees, gummy worms, mike's super trail mix, godfather pizza from nick's pizzas and subs, gummy lifesavers, and a 2 liter of coke were my food rations during an epic journey that is the lord of the rings trilogy extended version.

11 hours later, i'm proud to say that i traveled alongside frodo and sam on a (plot spoiler) successful mission to destroy the ring. the specific combination of a sedentary day, processed "food," and frigid weather provided an immense amount of flatulence from the quartet that pretty much covered the entire audible and aromatic spectrum.

on another note, i've ended my mustache growth project due to low performance levels of the facial hair located along the ridge of my upper lip.

i take my leave.
